奧體中心的面積特別大，足有89。6公頃。建有二場（體育場、訓練場）二館（游泳館、體育館）二中心（網球中心、體育科技中心）。
游泳館中有跳水池和游泳池。跳水池邊有一米板、三米板、三米跳台、五米跳台、八米跳台和十米跳台。池裡的水都十分清澈，而且是淺藍色，讓人看了心曠神怡。
體育館也十分漂亮，裡面有羽毛球場、乒乓球場和籃球場。據說羽毛球場的地板價值170多萬，而整個體育館的造價則有12億人民幣之多。
科技中心的觀光塔是一個亮點，它身高154米，是世界上最高的觀光塔。從塔上可以看到整個奧體中心的全景。而且在觀光塔上居然有水沖洗手間。我真是想不到工作人員是怎麼把水引到這上面去的。
而在所有的建築物中，給我印象最深刻的就是主體育場。它位於最中心，面積特別大，可容納8萬名觀眾，設有160個貴賓包廂。建築設計新穎，做工精細，雄偉壯觀。在環行跑道旁，有冠、亞、季軍的領獎台，我立刻跑了過去，站在最高的領獎台上轉了一圈又一圈。爸爸問我是什麼感覺，我回答了四個字「飄飄欲仙」。爸爸笑了笑，說：「在這『飄飄欲仙』的後面，需要多少辛勤的汗水呀！」
是啊！在成功和鮮花的背後都是艱辛的努力和數不盡的汗水。讓我們向著人生的金牌奮進吧！
