厦门大学校园本身就是厦门著名的风景区。厦门市区的风景旅游区基本上是以厦门大学为中心辐射的。我们住在离厦门大学南校门百米之遥的克立楼国际学术会议交流中心，南校门口就是多辆公交车的总站，旁边就是全国著名的南普陀寺，翻过山顶就是国家重点风景名胜区、全国首批五A旅游景区。从克力楼沿着广阔的汽车道走约摸20分钟沿途有许多景点，其中就有当年鲁迅和许广平谈恋爱的情人湖，翻过山头穿过隧道就到了学校的海滨区，这里濒临大海，出了校门就是有名的厦门胡里山炮台和沿海的东环道路由一串串特色景点连接和金门隔海相望。

1、群贤楼

Xiamen University was founded in 1921 by Tan Kah Kee, the well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader. It was the first university in China founded by an overseas Chinese.
